WARNING ON TRANSFER OF FUNDS
There has been an increase in the number of attempted frauds targeting law firms relating to the transfer of money. Please do not act on any email communications containing a link asking you to transfer or deposit money to any of our accounts (whether it be directed to our trust account or our office account). We would never, in connection with money transfers, send you an email containing a link. If you receive any email purporting to be from Mark Gustavsson & Associates seeking a transfer of money via a link in regards to our accounts please contact us on (08) 7079 7651 and then delete the message from your inbox.
CYBER FRAUD WARNING – Cyber fraud is a significant risk, specifically in relation to email accounts, and bank account details, which can be intercepted and/or altered. We will not change our bank account details unless and until we have notified you first by telephone. We strongly encourage you to call us to confirm our bank account details before making any bank transfer to us. We may also contact you to confirm any direction appearing to be from you.
